Who Are We? Where Are We from? Where Are We Going to? An archaeological excavation serves as the feature presentation for the permanent exhibition. The design elements of the exhibition include a chronological “path” leading visitors through 250.000 years of Westphalian history, “Theme cubes” that convey time-spanning themes, and “The View into the World” which is a wall presentation that contextualizes the history according to world events. The museum was renamed and is now called the "LWL Museum for Archaeology and Culture".
