Neandertaler – Living in Extremes. The concept of the exhibition seeks to imbue a broader public with an admiration for the adaptability and survivability of our ancestors who faced extreme changes in climate. By walking along a climatic curve, the exhibition is arranged like an expedition, as a travel through time and space: themes and objects such as the development of flora and fauna, climate changes and the evolution of man become a walk through experience. The museum was renamed and is now called the "LWL Museum for Archaeology and Culture".
